Minister Pompili meets with Lyon mayor Doucet and President of the Metropolis Bernard

Barbara Pompili, Minister for Ecological Change, has just arrived in Lyon with the TGV. The day after the submission of its law on climate and resilience, the member of the government chose the metropolis of Lyon to illustrate some important measures that emerge from the proposals of the citizens’ climate convention.

Those who belonged to the Greens, to EELV and then to the Ecology Party, met with ex-colleagues and ecologists –  President of the Metropolis of Lyon Bruno Bernard and Mayor of Lyon Grégory Doucet. All three will take a trip in one of the new generation electric buses currently being tested on the TCL network before stopping at a cargo bike station to find solutions for last mile delivery.

Before that, the minister will start her marathon day on the brand’s CSR policy at the Écully Decathlon. A visit to the bicycle repair shop, which has never been so successful, should bring some balm to the heart of the determined environmentalist.

Another programmed sequence, Barbara Pompili, will take the new lanes M6 / M7 on board the vehicle of a motorist who makes this journey every day to get to work. A visit to a car dealership is an opportunity to talk about electric vehicles and retrofitting aids. Another issue was reducing advertising. A tight day in prospect for the minister who does not intend to spare his efforts against those who are already scourging a climate and resistance law with a discount.
