Different districts of the city of Murcia will be dyed green this Friday on the occasion of World Pharmacist Day, which is observed globally on September 25, celebrated to create awareness about the role of a pharmacist.

Specifically, it is the riverbed, the Almudí Palace, the Moneo Building, and the pedestrian axis of Alfonso X El Sabio.

“It is a sector that has been from the first moment in the front line to contain the coronavirus, readapting its facilities with security measures, solving all kinds of inquiries from the population, and providing essential services,” said the Mayor Ballesta.

The councilor added that “pharmaceutical professionals respond to the 20,000 Murcians who visit pharmacies every day in search of advice and purchase of drugs, demonstrating their firm commitment to Murcian society.”
