Brussels to host CORE Festival in May


The creators of Tomorrowland, the worldwide famous electronic dance music festival held in Belgium since 2005, have officially announced a new music festival which will take place in the capital city of Brussels. The festival will be organized in collaboration with Rock Werchter, another famous Belgian music festival.

CORE Festival, a brand-new two-day boutique festival in the beautiful Osseghem Park in Brussels, will take place on May 27-28, 2022.

Mayor of Brussels Philippe Close stated: “We are very proud that Tomorrowland and Rock Werchter, two of the most important players in the world of music, are coming to Brussels with this new concept, a total experience of music, art and nature. Brussels celebrates and thus enables the event, cultural and hotel industry to breathe again.”

The organizers announced that the new CORE Festival will feature a very eclectic line-up across 4 different stages, while breaking the boundaries between quality indie, hip hop, electronica, hyper pop and alternative dance, It will be more than just the music experience: CORE will unite music, nature and art, along with an exquisite food experience.

CORE will take place at the Osseghem Park, located at the foot of the famous Atomium on the Heysel Plateau. The organizers have consciously opted to bring the CORE Festival to the edge of town, while Brussels is home to a wide range of hotels and accommodation options, catering to a vast array of budgets, states the official press release.
