EnergeticsEventsInfrastructureInvestmentsNews

Until February 12, the City of Lille , led by mayor Martine Aubry, is launching a call for projects from all the associations in the area wishing to contribute to Lille’s ecological transition, through eco-responsible actions or events. The proposed projects may be financially supported, after a decision by the municipal council in April 2021.

Any initiative or program that facilitates the passage to allowing the reduction of the carbon footprint of Lille, Lommois and Hellemmois and of the territory is welcome.

The project may relate to active mobility, control of energy consumption, renewable energies, water management, responsible consumption, waste reduction, circular economy and limitation of pollution.

The proposed initiatives must achieve one or more of these objectives: spread and massify sustainable practices that have proven their worth in terms of climate or environmental impact; supporting groups of inhabitants or structures in their ecological transition: theoretical and practical contributions; contribute to the generalization of eco-responsible events (support for organizers upstream, during and after, application of clauses and concrete solutions, etc.).

Finally, to benefit from the funds, the proposed action must take place before December 31, 2021.

The deadline for submitting applications is February 12, 2021 and further information on the process is available on Lille’s official website.
