United against abuse: Lord Mayor of Dublin hosts a free webinar on Friday

Lord Mayor of Dublin Alison Gilliland invites everyone to participate at the webinar: “Understanding Coercive Control and Domestic Gender Based Violence“. Her goal is to reach out to all women and girls who are victims of gender-based violence and domestic abuse, but also to help other people how to understand and recognise the first signs.

There are a lot of benefits regarding webinar participation. Many girls and women are afraid of visiting consultants and organisations regarding this problem. By organising an online event, Lord Mayor of Dublin Alison Gilliland offers a unique opportunity for all those in need to freely learn and discuss these problems without any hesitation.

Each year commencing on 25th November, UN Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the city of Dublin recognises the 16 Days of Action Opposing Violence Against Women. This campaign helps build this awareness. To support this campaign and to support our understanding of violence against women, Lord Mayor invited everyone to participate.

The webinar is taking place on December 3 from 1 pm and all those who are interested in attending, can register for free on this link.
