Hamburg is hosting the Eurominds 2023 economic summit at the end of June to discuss ways to make European economies stronger and more sustainable.

Headed by Mayor of Hamburg Peter Tschentscher, city authorities pointed out that attendants will discuss the future of European economies at the summit hosted by the Bucerius Law School.

The summit will offer an opportunity for businessmen, politicians scientists and reporters to network and discuss economic issues in Germany and Europe more broadly.

City authorities stressed that the event focuses on burning issues and looks for solutions “for a future worth living in.”

The main topics of discussion include energy independence, environmental protection, sustainable mobility solutions, digitalisation and financial resilience, among other.

Deputy Mayor Katharina Fegebank will attend the summit along with chairman of the economic committee in the Bundestag Michael Grosse-Brömer and environmental activist Carola Rackete.

They will discuss how Germany and Europe can emerge stronger from the crisis and propose new ways to balance between individualism and collectivism.

Hamburg pointed out that it is hosting the summit again as one of the strongest economic regions in Europe and added that the event will be held under the patronage of Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer.
