Ireland’s first smart exercise park opened in Dublin
Lord Mayor of Dublin Hazel Chu launched SPARQ – Ireland’s first Smart Exercise Park in Donaghmede.
Dublin company Sparq, in partnership with Dublin City Council, opened Ireland’s very first fitness focused smart park in Dublin – with plans to roll out the community fitness initiative nationwide.
By using QR code technology, Sparq brings free virtual fitness sessions with top class professional personal trainers straight to a person’s phone. Personal trainers from the Irish Strength Institute will guide people through their fitness paces – with exercise levels and options available for all ages and abilities.
Through the use of smart technology, Dublin City Council and Sparq are setting out to enable and inspire people of all ages to get up, get active and get fit by making the most of their local park – and keeping fit the contactless way.
