Prague City Data Congress starts on October 26

For the third year in a row, municipal company Operátor ICT is organizing Prague City Data Congress which will take place on October 26 – 27, 2021.

The aim of the congress is to showcase studies and drive networking in the fields of data, urban planning and municipal coordination.

This year, the congress will focus on accessible design, data visualizations, and data-based storytelling.

Mayor of Prague Zdeněk Hřib stated via social media: “Prague City Data Congress is approaching! I am very happy that this year we will welcome in Prague the representatives of cities from all over the world and share we will all share our experience with digitization among us”.

Besides mayor Hřib, some of the speakers at Prague City Data Congress are Hsin-Ke Lu, IT Commissioner of Taipei City Government who will present TaipeiPASS, a new public services app for the Taipei metropolitan area and winner of both iF Design Award and IDC Smart City Asia Pacific Award.

Ville Meloni, Programme Manager at City of Helsinki, will present Helsinki’s Design System – a tool for creating user-friendly and accessible interfaces for various types of digital products, while Caroline Goulard will share their vision to make data a driver for more sustainable cities, in the light of their 10 years of experience in the field of Human Data Interactions.

The participation is free of charge and is possible both online and in person.
