Kyiv and Berlin to cooperate in the field of transport, environment and education

During a working visit to Germany, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with Governing Mayor of Berlin Michael Müller to discuss the start of cooperation between the capitals in the field of transport, environment and education, reported the prime minister through social media.

“During a working visit to Germany, I met with Governing Mayor of Berlin Michael Müller. We discussed the beginning of cooperation between our capitals in the field of transport, environment and education,” Shmyhal wrote on Telegram.

According to him, Berlin has a unique experience in creating and developing modern infrastructure.

“I believe that thanks to cooperation with Berlin, Kyiv will become an even more modern and comfortable city,” Shmyhal added.

As Ukrinform reported, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said during a meeting with German Federal Foreign Minister Heiko Maason  that Ukraine seeks to join the European Union and NATO and hopes for Germany’s support in these matters.
